In short
The FrogLog is a small floating platform attached to a mesh ramp. You fill the anchor pouch with sand or gravel and lay it on the pool edge; frogs, mice, lizards and ducklings that fall in climb the mesh and walk out. No tools, no power.
Best forAny in-ground or above-ground pool where small animals regularly drown.

What we liked less
- Single ramp — big pools may need two
- Price varies a lot in Europe
How it works
A small floating pad is linked to a mesh ramp that rests on the pool edge, held by a pouch filled with sand or gravel. Frogs, mice, lizards or ducklings that fall in swim to the pad, climb the mesh and walk away — instead of ending up in your skimmer.
Setup tips
- 1Place it 2–3 m from the skimmer, where critters end up
- 2Use gravel rather than sand to avoid leaks into the pool
- 3Add a second unit on large pools
